So after a long time with a stethescope i narrowed it down to the bottom end but honestly i thought it would be a more significant difference between the sound from the top and bottom end, just slightly louder on the block right by the crank. Did the coil pack test and its #5. Then i made the mistake of calling nissan to ask what it would cost for a bearing job (just cuz, i would much rather do it myself) $2300 for labor yikes! Not missing anything in my diagnosis right? Or is it more likely pin or piston slap bc the lack of sound dif in the top and bottom end? The sound is doin a pretty good job of resonating into the bell housing too which also leads me to believe that its coming from closser to the crank
